Well… as long as I’m posting Tokyo Jihen stuff….
This is “Konya wa Karasawagi” from their new album, “color bars”.
THIS MUSIC VIDEO. IS SO COOL. Their outfits are so good! And I really love the chorus of this song. It’s so catchy…. There’s something about this song. It’s really ironic or melancholy. I can’t place it.
What a good goodbye song. They seriously don’t disappoint.
I’m really sad that I never got to see Tokyo Jihen perform live. ;____; But I wanted to post a performance as tribute, but it’s so hard to pick just oneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee….
A lot of people I know don’t like Shiina Ringo’s voice ‘cause it’s so scratchy and it’s not what comes to mind when you think of “beautiful voices”. :P But she’s the only one I know who can pull of these songs.
This song is Omatsuri Sawagi. I don’t think they’ve performed this live since HZM left the band… no one can play that piano part but him, I guess. XD It’s so crazy good! And the basssssssssssssss oh gods the bassist~ And I love watching the drummer; he’s always smiling like he’s having such a good time! I love everything about this performance. Even her outfit; it’s so classy~
This is a glittering extravaganza for a formal ball. The neoclassical motifs of the lace are interesting, particularly the laurel wreaths. The way the black lace is applied over the velvet bands to add a different texture and lighting effect, acts as a foil to the glitter of the paillettes.

Nanquest.
For those who aren’t familiar, NanQuest is the spiritual sequel to RubyQuest. A horror-based quest (interactive webcomic-ish story) with surreal motifs and lurking danger.
And it’s being updated again.
